When I saw this title available on the AuthorHouse web site, I thought, well it's about time someone came up with a story to answer this age old children's question. So I bought it and was so pleased that the story had such a creative solution that kids would understand and not be frightened by. As a child I grew up in a house that didn't have a fireplace and chimney. When I was 7 years old I asked my parents how Santa got in and they told me they left the back door unlocked for him. The thought of a door being left unlocked all night so that anyone could just walk in frightened me so much, that every Christmas eve until I was 12 years old, I slept under my bed. I think this book is destined to become a holiday classic!
